DESIGN NARRATIVE

W Lounge is shaped by Budapest, where culture, history and contemporary energy meet in one social space. Once home to the Dreschler Café, its spirit of gathering still lives beneath the arcades. Gold lamps echo the ballet tutus, a quiet nod to its past as a Ballet Institute. Chess-inspired patterns reflect Hungary’s intellectual heritage, layered into the space. Above it all, a mirrored ceiling pays tribute to Harry Houdini's illusion, escape, transformation. A historical building, given a second skin.
